Mercedes gullwing redux

I am crazy on cold/flu medicine (no swine flu jokes please, I not only was hanging out with someone from Queens the on Saturday, I also sat next to someone at dinner who had just got back from Mexico City).  At first glance, I was all over these renderings, but on second glance, they start to remind me of Ford’s Thunderbird remake, and now terrible was that?
