I’ll be playing night-appropriate music at Nita NIta this FRIDAY NIGHT in dear old Williamsburg. Hell, I live in Manhattan and I love that damn bar. The moon is probably 95% waning gibbous that night, what better reason to enjoy cocktails, downtempo, dub, hip-hop, and the sort of throw it all in a mixing pot assortment of eclecticism you’ve come to expect–plus, possible guests on the 1′s and 2′s?

This Saturday September 12, Nylon Guys Magazine + Bloomingdale’s are hosting an in-store event for Ben Harper + David Arquette’s clothing line, propr. I will be providing live DJ sets, and Ben Harper, David Arquette, and David Bedwell will be there to rub elbows with. Complimentary refreshments will provided, and there are awesome gift bags with purchase. Rumor has it that the gift bag contains an all-access CMJ 09 badge. (No you idiot, that has nothing to do with country music).

I have absolutely no use for this, but the fact that you can use your iPhone as control vinyl to power your Serato/Traktor/Torq/Deckadance setup just blows me away. Suck it, Blackberry!
